UV Curing Systems

16_UV_Curing_System

It is installed in the printing press for curing of UV printing ink or UV varnish and dries the printed matter in-line. We offer low temperature type and low power type (Blue Wave UV system).
The low-temperature type uses a reflective double-cold mirror to lower the temperature of the printed paper surface, and also uses an air-cooling system to cool the device, eliminating the drawbacks of the water-cooling system and reducing running costs.
The low-power type (Blue Wave UV system) is a device that reduces power consumption, reduces running costs, reduces CO2 emissions, and improves safety and quality.

Product Features

Air-cooled shutterless system (patent pending)

Lamp
The adoption of a reflection cold mirror reduces adverse effects of heat on printed materials and presses.
・Installable in existing press deliveries.
・The lamp unit drawing method allows for easy replacement of a lamp and reflecting plate.
・Economical and easy maintenance. Use of an air-cooling system eliminates the need for water cooling/circulation equipment and control over water flow rates and quality.

Power supply unit
・Compact and lightweight.
・High efficiency and superior stability.
・Compatible with any lamp type.
・An inverter mounted for air supply/discharge control. Optimum cooling of a lamp is available even if lamp output is changed.
・Mixing a cold blast into the air supply unit and making the charge air temperature constant allows for a stable UV irradiation dose._x000D_

Air-cooled shutter system

・Allows for combinations of the reflection plate and filter used according to type and requirements of the printing material.

・Allows for reductions in initial investment and running costs. Using irradiation heat and exhaust heat from the UV lamp body for curing water-base varnish eliminates the need for IR equipment. (Patent pending)
